When we're running pups, I usually leave a bucket of dip at the pen for anyone to use. It's usually good for the week. This is what they need to do also. Pups that are continually in the brush need a cattle tag or dipped every week. imho
The ticks are really bad.
I would recommend you get some cattle tags for your hounds, it's easy to do and you take responsibility for your own.
I think we all learn from our mistakes and are often reminded when we slip-up.
Best of luck with your pups...

Also the kennel cough was the second round because it takes two to be effective so they were infact protected. at least thats what my vet always said.. The first time I used the nose one and the second was a shot. They didnt have worms either but I dose them and bathe them the day before drop off.. ALWAYS.. Its just normally I wait 24 hours and put the meds on the morning of the drop off. this time I had to get them up there and it was a now or never type deal...
As a rule I drop my dogs off to a pen in 100% condition with nothing wrong with them.. I would hate to be responsible for bringing something into someone elses kennel....
I have been to 4 different starting pens and had I think 8 dogs trained and I have never once had a problem..

I guess i am the only guy who wouldnt drop off my dog/ dogs and leave them in someone elses care.i am a firm believer that folks think the starting pen is the easy button.if i couldnt start and put the time in my dogs then i wouldnt own so many or any at all.sux to hear about the ticks.
