I know cheating happens, but it has never happened in front of me because I will call it out on the spot.beagler282 wrote:Well what it boils down to is all the cheating going on.Yes I said cheating! I've never been to a LP hunt but I sit back and read all the complaining that is done on here about it and I can relate because I compete in PP.
I have seen some bad judging (not that often and usually because they are green or not physically fit), and have seen some bad calls (I am sure I have made a couple).
What I hear about is how people get cheated, and conspircies to make one dog win and make any "good dog" lose. Just lots of complaining and BS. Most of the people running around whining absolutely will not go up to someone's face and explain their percieved problem.
There are people that I point out as soon as I pull into the parking lot or walk in the club house that I guarantee are going to make at least 4 or 5 others day miserable. It is usually because they don't know the rules.
We all look for them, as soon as we see them, or even their truck, we start to hope we don't get cast out with them, or have to judge them.
If we do have to go out with them, we are dreading it and everyone in the cast dreads it. You can sense the tension those certain people cause even if they don't cause trouble (their dog wins).
