Rabbit Nuggets, cut 4 slices on each side of the back, pull out 8 perfect nuggets. Soak in milk and hot sauce 2 hours, pour milk and hot sauce off, put in bag with flour, salt and pepper shake well, then deep fry. Pour gravy on top of nuggets or dip in your favorite dipping sauce.

I love me some back straps. when ever we have a good day in the woods (5 or more) I'll take all the back straps, season'em up , throw'em on the grill, ans slap on some sweet babyrays bbq sauce right before there done. It puts a smile on everyones face. I make sure to slice the service skin off before grilling, that takes the game taste out. That with a few good sides is hard to beat at the dinner table.

stuffed rabbit

Post by Ralph Pearson »

Nary May does all the cooking around here so I asked her and she says she gets a fresh killed rabbit and stuffs it with a quail. Then she take the quail stuffed rabbit and covers it with dressing and takes that and stuffs it inside a wild turkey. She ties cooking string around the turkey to make sure the rabbit don't fall out and takes the turkey and stuffs it inside a nanny goat. She says a nanny goat is more tender than a billy goat and since we both have false teeth she uses the nanny. Now for the secret to the whole recipe and I think she seen this on one of them cooking shows on the TV satation. She sews the cavity shut on the nanny goat and takes the whole ball of wax and stuffs it inside a young corn fed camel. Make sure you skin the camel. Throw the whole thing in the oven and cook for a week. Serves 408 people. She says an option or variation of this dish is to leave the quail out. I want to warn you though that if you do that it will only serve 407 people. Fact!
