simple pleasure pup wins first ukc hunt first trial entered
seen tony seconsky dog out of molly run today he did a super job this dog is a jumpin fool good job tony another 1st place.
Congratulation to Tony and his dog, talked to Tony tonight and he seems real happy with his young dog! Molly is a producer for sure, at least two of that litter already won hunts in UKC and my male out of that litter is placed in two little pack hunts at 13 and 14 months old, 11th at a PP state hunt at 13 months old. Most all of them are great at jumping and hunting abilities. Also heard a group up north has a standing offer to buy any pup out of this litter for big money!! Mine is not for sale!!! Tony, the only problem now is; how do you get on your list for another one with so many people after you for a pup!!! LOL I'm truly glad you have a list two miles long for pups, at this rate, Molly only has to live 30 years. LOL Come on Tony, bring Molly over to ARHA and show her off, she done all she can in UKC!!!
congrats....
congrats...

Hunter101,
I'm real pleased with my male pup out of this litter, you can read how he has done in four trials this last year in the second reply on this thread. At home in gun hunting him this year and running him for pleasure (about 4 times a week and he begs to go every night) he has taken off and done a wonderful job for me. I have hunted with beagles since 18 yrs. old and now I'm 46 and I have never had a better young male dog at this age. He will out jump anything I have right now but I have a blueback female 6 months older that can out check him, but he is a handful for all of them (them is: 2x Nat. Ch. Blueberry son, son and daughter out of Dreamboat, a blueback granddaughter, two of Turbo grandchildren out of a grandchampion and others). He is quiet in the check area and he will move the rabbit out of a check with quickness. The only reason I got him was the owner said he wanted only dual champions (field/show) and he didn't think he would show because his elbows at 8 months turned out a little but with running him and building some muscle in front the elbows look normal now. I have already won best male with him in show. I took him out solo tonight from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. and he runs like a 3 year old dog right now (of course, on and off) , he will solo a rabbit by himself all night if you let him. He is one of those dogs that will slow down on real bad days (33 days without rain right now in OK) and walk if he has to to circle the rabbit but give him a good day and watch out, he will move with it. He is not perfect, (I have never seen a perfect dog) and he makes mistakes out in the field just like any young dog but it doesn't matter to him if there is one dog or 10 dogs he is still going to do his thing, he handles pressure very well for a young male. He suits me very fine and I look and hope for great things in the future from him in gun hunting him first and trialing him second. Thanks for asking. dboman

I want to post one more thing on this subject. I don't want my messages to sound like the sire had nothing to do with this cross, indeed he did have alot to do with it!!!! His name is Lake Ogemaw Red Chief (out of Casey) and I have never seen him run but I have heard some very good things about him and the owner of this dog I'm sure is very proud of him. Great blood on both sides of these pups and I would never take that away from anyone's dog. If someone knows the owner, please tell him about it. (I had no one call me about this but just wanted to clear this up). Both dogs are great and it shows in their offspring. dboman
I saw a female (Stormy weather Ring) that was out of Lake ogemaw Casey and untill Sat at a field trial she was the Best dog I had ever seen run. On Sat I saw Blue Sly's Sophie run, What a treat!! She won the GRCH class. Now I don't Know which is the best. But it is definately one of these two females!! By the best I mean Hard hunting, Hard driving, FAST, accurate to the line, not wild, Honest mouth. pretty much everything (I'm) looking for in a dog. The best part of the whole this is I have a pup out of both of these dogs.

I'm pretty sure it is. From what I understand she "should have" taken first but we all know how that gos. If I'm not mistaken she is number 2 in the points standings nigt now. Her daughter is doing really well She placed 3rd in her cast last Sat but that was my fault. I have never run ARHA triles and didn't keep her with the pack. She was about 75 yds behind the other 4 dogs they struck, she ran to them and picked up the line and drove it but time ran out. She got beat by a strike and a check. I think she may have had a better chance if she would have been with the pack. But who knows. She is still young. DOB 9-14-04 From what the breeder says these dogs take time to come into their own. So I'll keep putting trtacks between her front legs and see what happens.
