Hey I would like an opinion from some of you beaglers....
I am interested in getting a shock collar for my beagles. I have been looking at Tritronics along with others...what do you guys think about a dogtra shock collar? What radious would you get? 1/2mile v.s. a mile?
Thanks for you opinions.

I can't give a comparison as all I have ever used are the Tri Tronics and I like em. I would say, in my oppinion, to go with at least the 1 mile range collars. If the hounds take a hot deer or fox track, it doesn't take them long to put ½ mi. behind them. Good luck, CHH

I havent used Dogtra. I would go atleast 1 mile range. The 1 mile range work 1 mile in perfect conditions. If you get in hilly terrain with heavy cover you will need a lot of extra reception.

I have used both Dogtra and also Tri-tronics as long as you buy the 1 mile range collars there is not much difference except the new Tri-tronics I think will be better on the charging part. I am speaking about the new G-2 models, I sell both of them so e-mail me with your phone no. and I will give you a call.
