First of all I am not a "Show folk". I am a field breeder that breeds for conformation in my running dogs. As a responsible breeder, I educate myself to the genetics and PROPER color identification of each hound as well as other genetic traits both good and bad. Too many folks will mark a dog the wrong color cause they just don't know what they have.
Here you have Bev for providing the place and these folks that were kind enough to show their hounds here for YOU and everyone else to see what a blue dog looks like and you STILL want to argue?????
Maybe you should research your claims. Like Cannon said, how can all of these folks be wrong and only you be right???
Check out the NBC website. Nationa Beagle Club if ya don't know what NBC is. They are the parent beagle club that the AKC gets their beagle standard from. Then again, maybe these folks are wrong too???

First of all, thank you TC for liking Windmill Acres Blue Streak. She is a great hunter as well as a great producer! In no way is she a show dog!
ringtail, you are mixing up the blue tick with the blue tri color begles. These on this post are tri color beagles. Where there is black on a conventional tri color beagle, these beagles are a blue/gray color. They are called blue tri color dogs. They are registered as blue tan and white. I don't know if that color choice is on all puppy applications, but it does appear on mine when I order them. It's not a real common color, but it is appearing more and more. It is very hard to photograph the true color of these dogs. If they are photographed next to a black white and tan beagle, you can see the difference. If not, maybe an eye exam is in order. Look back at some of the other posts on this subject and I posted a picture of blue as a pup next to some black tri color pups.
Once again, they are not blue tick dogs!!!!! They are blue tri color dogs!!!!!
