Cannonball,
I would be glad to tell you what I see in your hound, the thing is I am only looking at a picture so that is what I see. In the picture your dog does not look like it has enough depth of chest, and the rear looks like in the picture that the rear has very little angle for the height of the dog, making your hound look leggy. On the front elbow area it also appears as if your dog elbows out which will turn the front feet in or will look like he is swimming when he will move towards you at a fast pace. Other words your dog does have a good top line and length of ear is good has what appears to be a very nice coat. The muzzel I would like to see a little more there. Send your email address and I will see if I can find you some diagrams of the anatomy so you can see what I look for in the dogs. You can enhance your breeding program with your dogs if you recognize what your dog needs to be better, conformation wise, and can recognize what your dog don't have that is existing in one you are considering breeding to. Remember now this is judging by picture, so can only judge by what is presented in the picture and my eye could see. Placing your dog and the others on a bench and I was there in person to evaluate the dogs there might have been a totally different out come, and as far as that goes I think that another person may see something I didn't see and place all the dogs in different order,

TC i never ment to run you down on your judging of the dogs i ment only that what one judge see another one dont. the cannonball pup was set up wrong, as a judge myself id set the dog for my own eyes to see, the owner had him streched to far that hurts his back side and also his over all form, to my eyes id set the pup up so i could see his or her faults myself i know you couldent see only what was in the picture, i myself dont fault a dog because of bad handlers. and id say the handler needs some much needed help in showing his hounds

You better get to the eye doctor then because the dog I posted is a blue! This is him at 12 weeks. Maybe you can see it better in this photo.

Yes you have seen a blue dog other than my last post. Because that 12 week old pup and the dog I posted on page two are the same dog!
