Thanks Tim, now maybe I can get a few people to come up for a couple days and do some rabbit hunting there....You don't by any chance know if there are alot of rabbits there do you? If there is maybe Bev would let us camp out in her yard to save some money on motel rooms...LOL

I live about 10 minutes away from Atterbury and to tell you the truth there isn't very many rabbits there and there are deer hunters all over the place. I would try another wild life area.

Thanks for the info BeaglerJay. I was planning on trying out Atterbury this season. I probably still will but at least I'll know what to expect.

WVbunnyhunter, if you want to come over and hunt in northern Indiana I would be glad to go with you to the wildlife areas that I hunt. There is camping at the hunting grounds if you want to save hotel fees.

I feel the same way about Atterbury.

Not many rabbits and several coyotes.

Thanks for the heads up.....I would love to hunt Indiana....I heard there are alot of rabbits there and the reason I wanted to hunt Atterbury is because that is the area I am most familiar with. Also I was going to take my son and my wife so that when I'm not hunting rabbits we could hang out in Indy or Columbus. Any other good places to hunt rabbits around that area.... I also thought about Patoka Lake since my mom lives about 40 mins from there.

Thanks again

WVbunnyhunter, I live right outside of Indy and it only takes about 1 1/2 hours to get to Salamonie and Huntington area where we hunt. Be glad to take you up with us and do some hunting. Drop me an email and we'll see if we can find a date that works.

Huntington is far better than Atterbury. I have a FWA about 15 min. from my house that is full of rabbits. Only 3 of us have been running it this year.

Thanks Tim that sounds great. I had panned on seeing if a couple of buddies of mine would go with me to hunt IN. I don't know if that would make a difference in the invitation or not...Right now I am shooting for the week after Christmas...

The invitation would still be open and it looks like the week after Christmas would work. Drop me an email and we'll work on some details when your ready.
