Anyone have experience with the Coverline bloodline? My new pup has this bloodline in her, and so far she is doing great.

That would be Millard Holton's bloodline. He's from Mason, Mi. He currently advertises 2 dogs at stud, - FC Coverline Colt, and near Int. FC Coverline Check Artist. You can shoot him an E-mail at coverlinekennels@msn.com. Hope this helps, and hope you have a great time with your pup.

I don't have any personal knowledge with this bloodline as far as seeing them in person, however I have seen them in magazines and on a few outdoor shows. From the video I saw on them they appeared to be true medium speed hounds or a tad slower, lots of line control, nose and mouth. Seemed to cooperate very well together and worked checks extremely well. Not flashy, but steady and fast enough to bring a hare around to the gun.
