ivomec again
how many of you guys get your ivomec from a farm store? im going to get it this weekend because heartworm pills are getting expensive. should i get it from a farm store or order it? keith

Farm store is fine....co-op or TSC. Remember to keep it stored in the brown box it comes in. Sunlight damages ivomec more than heat or cold.

I use the one for cattle, in the 50ml size. You don't need the injecting gun, as you will give it orally. you will want to give the 1% solution at 1/10 cc per every 10lbs of body weight. EX: 20lb beagle will get .2cc. I generally just squirt it in their mouth, but it taste's bad, so you can add it to a small amount of canned food if you want. I find it easier to just squirt it in the mouth.
