After many efforts and seven pics later today I found this was as good as it was gonna get! LOL! Lotsa energy! And now that summer is almost over the wooly mammoths coat is almost finished shedding.
Just curious if a beagle has to be able to jump and circle his own rabbit to win this competition? I know this is all in good fun...but aren't these suppose to be rabbit dawgs that also look good? There are a couple of entries on here that I doubt have ever seen a briar patch.

Well All mine will run a rabbit Some better than Others and still waitin on a Pup to open!!! I trial all mine as well as Show!!! Anytime yall want to run Come on Out See for yourself Ya Might just leave with one LOL
From Field to Show and Show to Field the way it should be
My 18 week bitch Risa has been in the bush since 9 weeks. She is able to hunt a beagle lol and is working on the rabbit thing. She went back to the breeder today... not sure if I will be able to get her started now or not. My dogs all show and hunt and cart and do agility and work in the movies and work in my business with children and hunt.... Carolyn

The contest is titled "Best Looking" so I am judging strictly by Beagle conformation as written in the Beagle standard. Therefore all the trophies and bunnies in the background don't influence this judge either way...
....although, I could possibly be swayed by a nice belly button... .

Both hounds in the picture above are AKC-UKC reg and they
are trialed, gun hunted, and run every weekend all year. Ali-Billy the Kidd
(far right&bottom) is Branko top and bottom. He has a loud squall mouth that turns into a chop when he is really turning it on. D.O.B 6-20-03.
Berten's Trendsetter Candy(left) is Branko top and gay bred on the top side of the dam the bottom having Spainhour breeding Candy is
an excellent go find a rabbit not under your feet type hound but handles
pretty good. She has a tenor bawl that also goes into a chop. D.O.B.8-8-02
