Looking for beaglers in MS/AL/TN area

Post by MSU Dawg »

I am looking for some beaglers in the east Mississippi, west Alabama or southwest Tennessee area. I am in Columbus, Mississippi. Columbus is 2 hours south of Selmer, TN. & 60 miles west of Tuscaloosa, AL. We're 1 hour south of Tupelo, MS. & 1.5 hours north of Meridian, MS. I'm new to the breed & am looking for a few friendly beaglers to talk dogs & train with.

And yes, before anyone asks, I have contacted clubs in my area. Sadly, I have gotten nothing but disappointing results. I have written the Mid-South Beagle Gun Dog Ass'n in Lauderdale, MS.; the North Mississippi Beagle Club in Sardis, MS.; the West Alabama Beagle Club in Tuscaloosa, AL. & the Ken-Ten Beagle Club in South Fulton, TN.; but thus far none of the clubs I've written has seen fit to write back.

Thanks so much guys!!!

Grip12: I do not know what speed my dogs will be as they are just pups. They are Oak Hill breeding if that helps. I think Oak Hill goes back to JoJo, Gunsmoke & Rusty Nail stuff. Sadly, I do not have any ground of my own to run on, but I have permission from a former beagler to run my guys on his 66 acres when the pups are ready.

Rob G & MS Beagler: I will try to PM you today.

Bunny Seeker: I will send you my e-mail address. I am not far from Gordo (about 30-45 min). Maybe we could get togther sometime.

bgms603: I appreciate the link, I will check it out!

Thanks again & I'm always looking to meet beaglers in my area, so keep 'em coming!!! :D
