MSU your right, it just makes room for a better hound and there is a reason for all losses in our kennels. i know i have been wanting to down size some so i can start raising some Patch hounds also, but didn't want it to happen this way, i would have druther have seen him go to someone else than to get ran over, hind sight is 20-20 so we never no.
thanks liquidcool,checkmate, and Chad also.

thanks wrongside and Darrin it's a tuff way to lose one, just glad no one was injured in the vehicle, that would be even worse.
Maybe these pups that are coming will help the loss, and i maybe getting 2 patch males out of bossman from Plows hound tomorrow.this will put a little gettie up in my get along.

Darrin i know this sounds crazy but this was the final cross's in my kennel to see which cross i was going to stick with to be my best, plus i have some locals who have been wanting some pups out of these breeding. but this would let me know which was the best results of my bred dogs. as for the other 2 patch hounds it's a deal hard to turn down out of the Bossman of Plows.
Besides i have 2 boy's that love to handle, train, and hunt dogs as much as i do.
And no i'm not a dog trader, just a man trying to better his kennel of hounds.
But like you said give me patients, so pray alot for me and the boys.

Whoa Donnie, I never said you were a "dog trader"!
I just made a comment that you were gonna have plenty of pups over there soon and we all know how aggrivating puppies can be at times....dont jump to conclusions or put words in my mouth!
I am simply wishing you well with the pups! Now, where were we....

no Darrin not putting words in your mouth, i know what you meant, but you know how some others think, thats all.
didn't mean it that way at all, and know you would never say anything to offend me or others.
No problem and sorry that you thought i was pointing at you. I would never do that, especially to you, cause i think of you of as a good friend.

briarhopper and lonewolf, yep that is the litter mates, they are great hounds. Nitro was a late starter but when he kicked in he also did great and improved each time out. I had solo him alot lately which let me see his true ability, and to build his hunt, and confidence, which was the best thing i could have done.Last season i gunned over him with excellent results, took many bunnies from him.
My opinion is SY throwed some great pups overall, some late starters but when they kick in the didn't look back, just got better.
