My vet mixes Ivomec in a multi vitamin and I dose it as written on the bottle. It is WAY cheaper than what I used to be doing with Heartguard Plus. Even buying Pyrantel seperately from him, I have 75% savings and get the same coverage.
So far, I have only been to one vet that cashed my paycheck for me, and I only visited that place once. My hats are off to those doctors that have to diagnose patients without the liberty of them being able to be told what is wrong with their patients. Not to mention having to learn multiple systoms on multiple animals, making only a fraction of what MD's make.
Oooops, that is a little off the subject.

I've used Ivomec for about 3 years. I've wormed anywhere from 4-8 dogs every month and Im still on the same bottle. might have to get a new bottle this fall but thats pretty good......$35 bottle has lasted me 3 years! I've heard anywhere from 1/10cc per 10 lbs to 2/10cc per 10 lbs. I've had great success with it.
