Here is a list of things i've compiled to do for her first breeding....
At the time of the breeding she will have had been on INTERCEPTOR for like 5 months... However, i'm gonna back her off it while breeding and use panacure....
3 weeks before breeding..... (panacure wormer)
2 weeks before breeding.... (10-1 vaccination)
1 week before breeding..... (panacure wormer)
2 weeks after breeding..... (panacure wormer)
2 weeks after breeding...... (puppy chow feed)
3 weeks before birth..........(start milkaid)
Where do i need to adjust this and or what else do i need?
Thanks,
Jack

Re: Plans For Her First Breeding....
The Interceptor is fine right through the pregnancy and nursing switching could cause her to have diarea, puppy chow or diamond professional but only one month into her pregnancy because too heavy is no good either. OK OK Why Milkaid???? just give her calcium suppliment tabs after whelping to keep her calcium level up so she dont get milk fever. Mother nature is a beautiful woman and smart too. just myxdawg wrote:Here is a list of things i've compiled to do for her first breeding....

We've had a couple of litter and always use Milk-Aid on maiden bitches. The product not only suppresses acid milk, but aids in the production of milk from the start, to ensure pups get enough. Nothing is as sad or more work than hand feeding pups whose bitch cannot provide enough milk...
I think the bottle sugest starting Milk-Aid a week before welping...
We've found puppy chow to rich for our bitches(mushy stools)to be fed before welping and also the threat of creating big fat pups for the bitch to have to pass, for it's always a tendency to over feed bitches in welp. It would seem a better choice after welping to pour on the calories...
