Well I do believe Angel is pregnant! Her ribs have started to barrel out and her teats have started to drop.
I'll never say 100%, not for another week or so but I'm feeling good about it.
I'll keep you posted Vicki once I am positive

Take care

Thank you Goes and Yellowdog! We'll see how things go and figure out a pup for them. I heard from Sasha this weekend. She is all moved in in Bismark. She wanted to check in and see how her puppy was doing. Now we just need to work on funds to get their puppy to them. Let me know if anybody can help out!

We have a Personal Ponies breeder in Bismark. I'll see if I can get them to be there when the puppy is delivered, or have them deliver the puppy and get lots of pictures! It sure is amazing how things just seem to fall together when they are from the heart!

Thanks again to everybody!!!!!

Okay, now I am positive. She's pregnant
I sent Sasha an email to let her know that a puppy will be born in the next couple of weeks for them.

Vicki thanks again for bringing this to our attention and I feel honored that I am in a position to help. With some strong prayer and grace from the good lord above a healthy litter will arrive and survive.

I couldnt help but chime in on this one. The kindheartedness of all of you folks is what serving our country is all about. I just got back from Iraq in Feb and while I was away I was fortunate enough to have internet access for most of the time I was there. I loved beagles and rabbit hunting before I left, but it became my obsession while I was gone. In my free time I was on this site and some others learning as much as I could and researching bloodlines. I met some great people on here with big hearts and nothing but support and kind words. It really made my time go alot faster and smoother just to have someone to talk to about common interests. I went to KY and picked up a pup that James Moore held for me for several months. I just told him I wanted the pup and he said he would hold it for as long as he needed to. I am going next weekend to Ohio to pick up a pup from Mike Stone who has been just a great help to me just to talk to and be able to share beagling with. It is people like James,Mike and Vickie and all of you who are helping out this couple that make you realize that there are people out there that do care about the soldiers and what we do. And I am sure that Sasha is just beside herself with the support you all have shown and given her. And I am sure that Kenny will be speechless when he hears the whole story. But if he is anything like me, he will say "WHY." "Why did so many people go through so much trouble just to get me a dog?" "I don't deserve all of this, all I did was my job." "It is an honor and my pleasure to serve my country, but thank you so much for your generosity" Thank you all again for all that you are doing and your kindness.
If you were on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?

Thanks Yellowdog! If Goes pups don't work out, you are next in line!

Thanks for your kind comments mrvwsportsman. This is the least we can do for somebody to do all that they are doing for us! I'm glad you had a beagle waiting for you when you got home. I bet it sure did help!

Goes, what airline operates near you? We might see of they will donate their services to ship the pup to Bismark. I checked with FedEx, because I just found out that they ship horses from coast to coast, but they don't take household pets, and that includes dogs. We'll get the pup to Sasha.

Sasha is into her new house in Bismark now and loves the area. She will be checking with Goes on the progress of the puppies. She is so excited! She had given up ever finding a puppy for Kenny. I really am glad this is such a great group of people! It sure is nice to know that there are more than just a handful of good people in this World!

Hi Vicki, I have used USAIR in the past and they fly in and out of SEA-TAC airport. Last I checked it was $150 plus vet certificate and crate.

Talk to you soon.

I am located in KY and if it will make it easier to get a pup then let me know cause I am sure I will have some pups right about the right age for the end of July or August. Just let me know and I will hold a little female pup for you. ;)

Hi Vickie. I don't know if this will help you or not. but I have some pups that are 8 weeks old right now. I will give them one if they want one, I'll even make a special trip to ND. to give this family a pup. The way that I look at it is this man is Thousand's of miles away from his family, to protect us and our country. I can drive to ND. to give this man a pup. I will have no problem, driving to ND.

Thanks Catfish.

What a great community!
Oakhill, if for some reason mine only has males, that would be great.

Catfish, awesome offer, the only problem is that they would like a pup under 12 weeks for Kenny. That might put yours a bit older than they were looking for. But wow, to drive from PA to ND with todays fuels costs, that is one HELLUVA offer.

TC, you could just hold on to that $20 for know until we can see what's going to happen, but if a group of 10 of us could put in $20 each, or 20 to put in $10, we could all absorb the cost and make a true gift from the beagle community.
Or we could just start a savings plan and any donation in any amount would be placed in it and ALL the money raised would go to Sasha and Kenny for costs of food or future health care after the flight and Kennel costs are covered.

Our paper out here are very interested in this story, One soldiers family (my wife) helping out another soldiers family(Kenny) and the beagle communities way of saying thank you to him for his service.
