patch dogs

Redsrule,
I will tell you a few I know of, would have sooner but man rabbits are running to good around here right now to be on the computer, great races this weekend on Friday & Saturday even though the weather done got hot!
Darrin enjoyed your visit down here Friday, hope Tater has a sack full of pups for you, hope you & your fine young gyp enjoyed the rabbit race with my pups.
Here goes:
ARHA
Plowboys Frosty Patch
Plowboys Lucy Patch
Plowboys Pache Rhonda
Plowboys Pache Clementine
West River Pache Belle
Elmo's Diamond Rio Patch
I believe there is one named Lesage Midnight Patch & Lesage Crickett Patch, I forget the mans name who owned them but he called me one time to line up a breeding to my stud but never made it down. He told me they were champs in ARHA. They came from M. Roach I believe.
AKC
Little Red Cajun Patch
Ladds Caper Patch was qualified but Ray Ladd his owner never sent in for it. I have his original trial record & he has several wins. Ray told me he just went to have fun & didn't care about anything else.
I don't know exactly how you define pure but
Plowboys Half Patch Jett is a grand in ARHA but has an out cross of KY Mt Rudy in her.
Plowboys Janie Jenkins was a grand & is Hall of Fame but she has an outcross of good barn yard grade dog in her.
T's Flyin Plowboy Duke was a little pack champ but he had an outcross of Barn yard grade dog in him too.
I had a few more that I crossed Patch & Bredemeir & did well trialing but has been a long time ago ( 1988 & 89) & I don't remember them all. Most Patch owners probably are like me, trophies not near as important as get-r-done in the field.
There is a lot of them being trialed & doing well that have the crosses back in there a ways from Pennyroyal Sweetie, D&G's little Jake or Boss Hogg IV back to Pearson creek Field champs, I don't know if you call them pure or not but they have a lot of Patch in them but I will leave that up to you Redsrule.
Have a good one,
Plowboy

Plow, I surely enjoyed my trip to your home. The several hours of the Patches scortching them bunnies almost non-stop was great as well. My little gyp had a nice workout
Thank you very much for the very gracious hospitality. You and your family are fine people!
Hopefully I'll have a kennel full of new puppies in a couple of months!

I guess I'm on a roll here. Here is another one that I was looking at just
as soon as I saw the Red Cajun. Her brother PARKER'S PATCH
HAMMER TIME He was like a top male for a year or two in the Mid
West SPO. And in the advertizement I have it reads two of his littermates
have also made Field Champions in the Mid - West. Hammers title in
1997 was 15 " Male high hound of the year Mid - West Association and
again made Over All High Hound of the year for the Mid - West Assoc.
in 1997. He was owned by Dave Clucky and he trials some in the Mid-
West Association. He might have some more as some of his hounds out of Hammer have been placing at the trials.

I believe Parkers Patch Hammertime is out of Cajun instead of her brother, but I could be wrong. His sire is Big Oaks Magnum I think. Magnum was out of Hammeren Brewster & a female from Hare Song Radar maybe or something like that. I know Brewster is out of My Hammer Patch & Emmy Lou Patch. I know Brady Long ( a friend of Doug Bragg) In W. Va. bred to him & watched him run & was impressed with his abilities.

Parker's Patch Hammer Time
You are correct Plowboy Parker's Patch Hammer Time was out of
Big Oaks Diamond Magnum and Little Red Cajun Patch. I was thinking
that Red Cajun was the female you had that was a litter mate to Hammer
Time but now see her name was Queen I believe. Big Oaks Diamond
Magnum was out of Diamond Run Samantha who was out of Gunner
Joe Patch x Gunnie Run Sue. He must have been a very nice hound as Dave Clucky said to me when I ask what kind of hound he was, "I just
hate to run dogs and not take him with me." Brady did say that he
liked the hounds out of Hammer very much. They talked last year
about the son of his Magnum that they ran up on Drummond Island.
S R has seen the hound run. I saw him run on cottontails at Doug
Braggs and he was a very nice hound from all that I saw.

Parker's Patch Hammertime was out of Big Oaks Diamond Magnum and FC Little Red Cajun Patch. I watched Magnum, Cajun, and Hammertime run hare on Beaver Island a few years back along with FC Big Oaks Diamond Julie who was a littermate to Hammertime and finished out in the Mid West Gundog Association. They were all very nice hounds. Hammertime was 15" male high hound in the Mid West a few years back and the runner-up the following year, but never finished. I think David Cluckey and Scott Peacock have finished few other Patch hounds also.

Redsrule,
Here is a few more you can add to your list.
1. FC Nealmont Smokin Patch Speck.
He is out of Pine Patch Stupe and Shildt`s Gypsy Patch
Owner Don Brumbaugh
2.FC Camp-Bell Patch Shoney
He is out of Bo`s Patch Gunsmoke and Oak Groves Annie Patch.
Gunsmoke does however goes back to FC Pearson Creek Jason.
Owner James F. Campbell
3. I do not know if Shildt`s Dusty Patch has championed out but he
has done well.
He is out of Bo`s Patch Gunsmoke and Shildt`s Gypsy Patch.
Terry,
If you talk to Elmer you can tell him the the female out of Elmo`s
Boomer and Elmo`s Belle has turned out to be a gun dog that
anyone would be proud to own. A pile of rabbits have been killed
over her this year.
