Trying to form new beagle club support needed

Post by VABEAGLER »

New Beagle Club Forming in Virginia

We are trying to get a new UKC beagle club started in the Shenandoah Valley of Va. We need all the new members we can get. We are looking to have field trials as soon as we can get a club started. We would like to know if there is any intrest from people in joining. We will be located near Staunton VA in the Shenandoah Valley. Currently we are working on the detailes but need to get an idea of the intrest level from fellow beaglers.

Gentleman, The Shenandoah Valley runs along the Blue Ridge Mountains and is traversed it's entire length by Interstate 81. This new club could fill the gap for many of you who have to tavel long distances to other trials.

The area we are considering for a club ( Staunton VA) will be within a couple miles of I81 convenient to get to but still accessable for food and lodging. We are hoping that many of you will see the advantage of our location and support us with your membership and by attending our trials.

Please respond and show your support. This will not be possible without the help from fellow beaglers.

Please email or call and let us know.

P.S. If you cannot reach Seneca please email or call me and I will see that he get's the information.

Man, that sounds great, my friends and I were wanting to get into a club and start learning the trials, but Route 81 is to far away for us. Hope to find a club or more guys to start a club here East of Richmond.

Greg,

The female turned out good i was pleased with her it was a good cross.

Fellas,

Unless i have misunderstood there has to be a minimum of 25 charter members to start a club. Since there is no club close to us what we need to know is anyone on the board willing to be a charter member to help get it strarted.

This is the Information i believe Seneca needs.

Thanks to everyone who does have an interest. We are trying to finish the ground work.

We appreciate all the support.

Think about the location! I don't see how a club could be any easier to get to.

Washington D.C. 3.5 hrs
Bristol 4 hrs
knoxville TN 6 hrs
Norton,Coeburn,Big Stone Gap (for you KY boys) is 4.5 hours away. I was there yesterday.
Harrisburg PA 4.5 hrs

The 81 corridor is the north south connection. This should be a good format for the rabbit hunter as well as trialer. If you have ole Barney tied to the wood shed and you want to trial then let us know cause we want to hear from everyone.

There can be no success without participation.
