Bd be honest with us, here is your chance to show case "Your Line" against, of all else, some Branko based hounds. If you had what you say you had you would drive the 3 hrs to show them. I think we will all survive the day if you are not on the internet. Go for it! Just think of the bragging rights if you win. You wonder why I give you a hard time at times. Well this is exactly why, I don't think you have the hounds to back your talk.
BTW I set that guy straight on swings board for you.

It seems like every year somebody gets mad at somebody and challenges them to run dogs against each other then all this babbling goes on about what format they're going to run, what are going to be the consequences, whose dogs are better, who is going to judge, etc.

My suggestion is this:
AKC Gundog Brace (I know Swing, you said no GDB...probably because you've never seen it and you think it promotes a slow slow slow dog, which is not true depending on whose judging)

You each run 4 hounds, it will be picked out of a hat which dog will run against which. Because in GDB you can not run a hound against a kennel mate.

When you come back to second series whoever has 2 out of the top 3 hounds has better dogs. Or it could be first series GDB, second series small pack, winner take all. If all four braces drop the rabbit in first series then you both go home empty handed.

A location will be selected by the board, and will be somewhat centrally located and neutral territory. We all know that there is such thing as home field advantage.

Entry Fee: $150 per person, $50 goes to each judge, whom will be secretly picked by members of this board and $200 will go to the winner for gas money. The last thing is loser will never post on the board again, that way we don't have to hear about this crap anymore.

What do you say?

There will be no shooting of any dogs because lets face it, thats just RETARDED. AND IT IS RETARDED THAT YOU WOULD ANY DISCUSSION ABOUT THAT ON A PUBLIC FORUM. You Swing, who is so pro-youth beagling, are only being negative for the sport when some anti comes on here snooping around and sees you talking about shooting dogs.

I will pay Swing if we can get Blackdirt to run with Swing and the judge declare Swing won. I think maybe Blackdirt's dogs could get lucky and beat Swing's dog. I have seen this happend before. Lucky day for Blackdirt can give me an extra $20.

This whole thing sounds like bunch of fifth graders arguing.

Swing has dogs that suite him and he guns the hell outta them.

Brian has dogs that suite him and he guns the hell out of them.

They both promote gun dogs and breed better dogs for hunting.

I have talked on the boards with brian some and talked on the phone a few times with swing. I respect both of you guys.

I say stop the non sence.

We know you guys have dogs the suite you and that all that matters.

I wouldn't care who judged the darn thing I know you both would go home happy with the dogs you have.

Robert W. Mccoy Jr, I agree with you. This just gets uglier as time goes on. Ego is a hard thing to live with, and sometimes, may cost you what you value most. Sounds to me that you both have good dogs,enjoy they.

lol so much talk and so little go. Seems to be a little tail between the legs going on eh, blackdirt? Odd thing is on Chris's board you and Chris said I didn't have the dogs to back what I said. I posted the link to local clubs for you two and I'm still waiting, and waiting.... Guess that's the differance between us I know what I have and you think you have but probally don't. Some rise to a challenge win or lose others look for the back door.

Brian if you need money for gas I will send you 20 bucks and I think if we all chip in he can make it to MO. I dont think any dogs should get the bullet but competition is fun. Whoever loses loses its not the end of the world. Swing is willing to drive 419 miles wow thats pretty far. Brian, Swing is making a valiant effort and you are making excuses. I think you are better off just saying that you dont want to run against Stone. This is just my opinion from an outsiders prospective. Not trying to make anyone mad. MERV

Brian not my fight and could carless what the outcome is but i have to admit that both of your ego's got you into this. I see where swing is trying to accomodate you and don't know how he could do anymore other than come to your house get you out of bed and take you to breakfast before you run.

Instead of continually having to defend your self why don't you just suck it up and go meet the guy he is being more than fair about the distance traveled and you don't want to budge an inch.

I for one would like to see you save face. Right now you are being attacked and discredited on other boards. You yourself are part the reason all of this is still going on and now it seems only you can put a stop to it. Go meet the guy and show them all what you have. Good luck.

this whole deal was with me and swing. not merv, va beagler, incahoots, farwest, mn_beagleboy, kanesirish, etc etc lol. swing made his challenge and terms, i made mine with terms. i didnt accept his and he sure never accepted mine. all you old hens can post what you will on this but i could care less what any of you think honestly. im sure swing would still go on his terms and i know id love to run on mine, so maybe someone can send swing some gas money cause im sticking to MY terms. otherwise as far as im concerned this is the end of the thread. anyone is welcome to come here and run and have fun most anytime, but i personally do little traveling and that has nothing to do with swings challenge, anyone who knows anything about me is aware of that. thats just me. anyway, time for some guys to worry about their own kennels i would think!
