And I would think 419 miles north of me would be your way, and no as you have stated I havent seen your dogs go but I have people who have seen your dogs go and I go alot on what they know about dogs, if I remember right Terry Goforth said he would rate your Tom dog about a 3 1/2 in speed, thats the only dog I havent heard about from people I know personally. As far as your own line of dogs as in Crazy Lady and Grizzly Bear, those are the ones I have reports on.

I have never called you that, nor do I feel that way about you. I'd bet that we would get along fine in person.
As far as drinking, I was a drunk for several years, I really don't want to travel that road again.
I don't know Brian nor Swing. Betting isn't about "Faith" at all. I worked a few years in a pool hall back when I was around my late teens, early twenties. I saw first hand what wagering on pool games, slot machines, card games, how fast a guy takes to walk across the road, how long it takes to eat a cheeseburger, etc. will get you. Nothing.
As far as the church comment, that's between you and the Lord.

never seen your dogs go swing (and you never seen mine either) so i wouldnt say that about you. sorry if it made you think . it was a general statement made with a few kennels in mind but you werent one of them... remember i said "pro beaglers"... as for running with me... id love to see your dogs go... probably got a step on mine but mine would show fine... anytime you get this way, give me a call. got a ton of rabbits... if i remember right, emery dont live all too far away, pick him up and come run, he can score it (i like arha lp rules) and write an article about our run. sounds like fun. i can get time off anytime your this way.

How many think when someone makes a comment on heading in there way is at their door.
Me and Emery hunt together a time or 2 a year, and we meet in a different place, he dont come to my door we meet, and so far Emery is the one who has had to drive the most of the driving.
If you guys cant see through Dirt on this one, you have problems.

Looks like you gonna win Swing, but not until you willing to drive all the way to Blackdirt's door to get your $20 . If I were you Swing, I would drive all the way to run with Blackdirt to proof that your dog can beat his dog and have a little fun chatting with each other and get your $20 check in your mail.

hows this sound for a hunt:
1st hour-- we cast out 4 dogs (2 mine and 2 of swings), Emery judges them according to PP rules and a "winner" is declared.
hours 2 thru 5-- we just run and video the dogs if they are close. We can see how all the dogs hold up to 5 hours or so of good (hopefully) running and an overall analysis is made by the judge. then we would have a "points" winner and kind of a "rabbit dog" winner. Emery (the judge) could write up an article for Bevs mag about our run and include the score cards. just a nice friendly run but it would still have a competition feel to it. all i need is a date...."
He was given a date and now will not show his hounds. Looks like that was all it was, a debate. It is a lot easier to tell people how good your hounds are as opposed to showing them. Internet beagling at its best.
hi farwest, long time no see(not long enough though)... go re read my post and try to find where i asked for a spot to run. i said all along bring it on, i got a great spot to go. was the date like 4-23?? i think... thats fine... i'll meet swing in Princeton, IL right off of I-80 and we'll go. he picked the date and the dogs we run and the 2 judges so i should get to pick the spot at least.
swing - i always read your board a couple times a day. all the BS makes me laugh. dont care to post there but its like standing in line at the store... you see the National Enquirer on the shelf and cant help but read it real quick but you know that 98% of it is just BS for laughs.

so far this has been the smartest post that I have seen in this whole thread, I don't know either person and haven't talked to either one but I will say from what I have read BD said from the beginning if he(swing) was in the area to let him know and they would run, he didn't say if you drive xx amount of miles I will drive the rest so I would say that neither has won anything.
