Blackdirt, if you have a lot of faith in your dog, Farwest's deal could be your gas money. Or it could be another loss. :( . That is how gambling goes. You either win or lose.

Post from Swing,

and Brian if you are referring to me about being weak on dog power, I will drop my Stone dog with your best dog under any formatted rules you want except gundog brace, and whichever dog loses gets a bullet in the head.
How does that grab ya.

never seen your dogs go swing (and you never seen mine either) so i wouldnt say that about you. sorry if it made you think . it was a general statement made with a few kennels in mind but you werent one of them... remember i said "pro beaglers"... as for running with me... id love to see your dogs go... probably got a step on mine but mine would show fine... anytime you get this way, give me a call. got a ton of rabbits... if i remember right, emery dont live all too far away, pick him up and come run, he can score it (i like arha lp rules) and write an article about our run. sounds like fun. i can get time off anytime your this way.

Guys,
There's no sense in keeping this discussion going. It's simply not gonna happen under any circumstances. Everyone has tried to accomodate Blackdirt in every way possible to make this thing happen. I think he knows that if Swing's dog beats his, then he will never live it down. But oh well, I guess I am a part of swing's circus of friends...lol Hang in there swing, the world is coming up, we'll run our dogs and not hide from the truth lol...

Bopeye, no unfortunately I will not be able to make it. Believe me, if it was 10 hrs or less of a drive, I would chauffeur BD to and from.
Are going take me up on that $100 ? That's a lot of TADERS!! :P

thanks for the support chad  . not that you got a dog is this or anything at all...lol... or ever seen one of mine or i even doubt one from the same line as mine...lol. im not too worried about my dogs getting beat... the way i see it is swing is the only one with anything to lose here. he sure must have unstopable dogs if he will shoot his if it loses. unless his dog(s) put on a thorough butt kickin (yea right) he'll be the one getting some crap. but this is how it works...
1. you make a wild challenge
2. if it gets accepted, you try to ignore it
3. if that fails, you start adding to it
4. as a last resort, you hope all your friends get involved and then everything gets crazy and you dont have to run

good job swing. all i ever said was to get ahold of me if you ever get my way  ... wow what a mess!

Farwest,
No I don't believe I'll take you up on the offer, since I don't gamble. Sorry. I was just wanting to meet you in person. BTW, What's a tader?
Is that the same thing as a tater?

I really don't care if they run or not, just wanted to be apart of the "circus" for a moment.

I'm sure it won't take place as J.C. said for whatever reason, but it is fun to think about it. The world famous Stone dog against the lowly bramlett's, what a story that would make. :D

You guys are a riot.

Let's all drink as much beer as we can, then stand around with a jug and see who can pee the most. We'll call it a contest!

Well for starters since when did I start traveling all over the country to hunt? I havent been to Illinois for over a year, and I havent traveled any further than 2 hours to a hunt in longer than that.
And as far as having people post for me the only one who posted for me was Chad, when I couldnt get logged in due to my stealth surfer being down, your buddy still has me banned from this site but Bev is nice enough to let me use my surfer to get on and post with.
Emery posted what he posted on his own, he asked me in chat last nite if that date was fine and I said yeah, so he went and posted.
And as for me bragging on my Stone dog as you and Bopeye have said that I have done, I guess I missed where I posted it.
Only post that I have ever posted on Stone was this one and I have killed enough rabbits over him I think I know what he is capable of.
I looked on map quest, and from me to Hannibal is 419 miles and from you to Hannibal is 251.
So you tell me how it is more out of your way than mine to travel to this hunt.
Well the cards are on the table you folding or are you still in?
