Garmin Vs Pathfinder 2

Post by MasonsBeagles »

Ok so i finally broke down and went with a GPS Unit. Some friends that have gone through Garmins and now on Pathfinders sold me on the pathfinder 2. I have to say it is nice to be able and see where the dogs are at. Hows everyone else liking technology?

I'm still using my Garmin Alpha 100 with TT-15 mini collars that I bought years ago, love em!

I am still waiting to see how this new technology works out. Don't want to rush into anything. LOL!!! Still using my G2 Tritronics and the old stand by Innotek C-2000's that have served me well for many years. But have thought about the Pathfinder 2. Wish I could try a set to see if they provide the security the old sets have given me. I still have the Wildlife Material Beepers Model 10, and the big antenna. We go to a new place and carrying young dogs my buddies laugh at me, but I come home with my dogs. I am waiting for a like and dislike list of track and train.

im with you! until a few weeks ago I was using old TriTronics. It is nice to see where dogs are now and i dont just watch the screen so about same. has taken some time to get use to it but easy to work. Sunday it came in handy had a dog hit a deer and everything went along when they went over 400 yds basically straight i was like uh that aint right..lol I even had dogs that never run deer ever at least go along on the ride. GPS may have jinxed me...lol
