field trials in Pa.

Post by gbowers »

I would like to attend some field trials in Pa. over the next few weeks.I'd like to have the schedule of trials from clubs from the Rt.15 to Rt.80 in the southeast part of Pa. to Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. As I was scouting for Turkey in the Deer lake area of Pa. I ran into this beagle club called the Stein beagle club. Also where's the Blue Marsh area beagle club that's closest to me. Thanks Gary

I live in Frystown Pa. and I fish on the Blue Marsh Lake and I never saw or heard of a Blue Marsh Beagle club. Could you give me dirrections to it, or maybe its like Frystowns beagle club, a place for old boozers to get away from their wifes. they dont even have a member that even owns a beagle. Thats why I joined the Lebanon County Beagle Club.

Blue Marsh Beagle Club is in Summit Station. They used to run there trials near Blue Marsh but have sinced moved. I think they run GD Brace and PP

Got the following off the web.
Blue Marsh Beagle Cub
Mike Maciejewski or C. Richard Smoker
Mike 610-987-6665 Richard 610-273-2963

Not sure...but they might be at NLCBC this week end...or at least someone belonging Blue Marsh will be there

If the phone numbers are not current. The club is listed on http://www.arha.com/clubs/arha%20clubs.htm

Hi there

There is also a PP trial at North Lancaster County Beagle Club. It's located in Denver. Just off the turnpike.

The Blue Marsh trial is on the 20th. The Denver trial is the fallowing weekend.

Anybody planning on going to these?

Man I can't wait to get back east. You never know what you have until it's gone. Here in WA I have to drive 2 1/2 hours to the closest trial each month. My only other choice is to drive 3 1/2 hours south to oregon. And these are only UKC trials.
If I want AKC I would have to go brace. And that just ain't gonna happen anytime soon :D

Hope to meet up with you all next fall when I get back.

I got into field trialing through an AKC SPO man, and just assumed this was the only game in town.
