Hi-Standard Dog food

Does anyone feed Hi-Standard dog food? If you do or did what do you or did you think of it.

I have fed High Standard for 2 years and love it. It has minimum clean up as this is a must because my kennel has a concrete floor and my dogs do very well on it.

Chris,
I was a BIG Diamond man. I was the Ohio State hunt and a dealer was there. He wanted me to try a sample. I would not give him the time or day. My buddy did. Setting around the camp and I picked up the bag and checked out the ingredients. It was the exact same as the Diamond. Ifed my dogs a sample and they loved it. I was feeding the green bag of Diamond and now feed the purple bag of Hi- Standard which is the same. My dogs perform great, look great, and little waste. I have three beagles and after cleaning up waste from a month (due to snow) and only got 2 - 5 gal buckets full of waste. Now my buddy sells it and its $5 cheaper than Diamond :D Hope this helps ya ! I was a big Black Gold fan, I switch to High Standard Purple bag in May 2003 I purchased a ton, it took almost 3/4 of the ton for me to notice that there is a difference. My dogs did NOT do as well on High Standard, their hair was course, and not as shiny, and the energy level was not there. They lost weight...YES the ingredients appear to be the same, but a dealer told me that they use a lower grade of ingredient in their product. It may say the same thing, but is not the same quality as Black Gold. I switched back the dogs are shiny again and have great stamina and energy levels. I can provide names of others who have experienced the same results if needed.. E-mail me..

Chris Black Gold is the way to go,I've fead Pride,Diamond,Purina,Big Red,Joy,Pro-Pet,and others but Black Gold has been best by far way less stool and shiny coats and healthy hounds that hunt all day. I works for my hounds..

I'd buy Black Gold also but no place to buy it around here. They are missing out on alot of revenue.
