7 mnth old pup very sore at base of tail (dead tail )

Very sore if u move her tail up towards her back she does lift it occasionally or if u pput pressure on her back at base of tail. she will run a little then just looses ambition ussually a live wire been going on for about week and half. I did call vet and he had put her on amoxil and baby aspirin once a day just wanted to see if anyone else had any other ideas on remedy and how long recovery takes

why would you just CALL a vet....take the dog to the VET

Boy howdy he didn't need to see her said he has seen it alot. But thanks for jumping down a guys throat guys like u are why alot of guys don't post here

My lab gets it when I swim him a lot. It's called cold water tail. Just the muscles hurting at the base of the tail. Just give her rest and in a couple of days she will be fine. Google cold water tail in dogs. Lots of info. Hope this helps.
