I am in the market for a pup. I am looking for that will be a full 15 inch hound, well built, good feet, big nose, and desire to spare. I run in cold snowy conditions and I need a pup from proven cross. I have one of these dogs right now, he is IFC Berpauls MAC on top and FC Wrights jumping Molly on bottom. Titles mean nothing to me, and papers are optional. I would like to hear about the parents, possibly see them run, and hear about dogs from the same cross.

Any suggestions?

Aaron, I may be breeding Cry-On Nike to Mac this spring. Nike is 13" but there may be a 15" or two in the litter. Nike is Otterbrook Sam Jr and Otterbrook Top Dog breeding. Good nose, toughness and hunt, a little loose on checkwork.

Steve, I could have guessed that you would be the one to respond. 196 views and only one offer or suggestion. Just like I have said before, finding a real good dog to run in northern conditions consistantly is like finding a dinasoar. Steve, I am interested talking, e-mail me your phone number, I am sure I have lost it, and I will give you a call. How has your season been? Is old Mac still turning them out?

Aaron:
I just gave away one that I think would have suited you.He was out of Lingan Shylo who is out of Shanty Cove Spencer. He is 9 months old and the last time we had him out he gave our near IFC all he wanted and then some.I dont know for sure how he would have fared up there in your weather but he was bred for it.We put him on a measuring stand the other day and he measured 15 and a half so I gave him to my brother who doesnt trial.

Aaron I can say I have gun dogs here as I don't trial but living in central Minnesota is a long ways from you and pretty hard to set up and see these dogs run but I will be having pups out of a couple of my females that run on snow not saying they're world beaters but they show the meat and are run on all kinds of bad conditions and tested by me as to what I think they should do.I might be getting some pups to Wi. this year to be tested on hare.If your interested let me know can work something out.Steve M.
