A general forum for the discussion of hunting with beagles, guns, clothing and other equipment and just talking dawgs! (Tall tales on hunting allowed, but remember, first liar doesn't stand a chance)
Go to Various Beagling Events for rules and participation. We will keep the contest on that forum. Get your blueticks spiffed up and stacked for a good photo. There's plenty of time for you to do so.
I will leave this announcement up for a few days for questions because I want to leave the actual contest thread free for photo submissions.
Friday 3-10 is the last day to post a Bluetick. The thread will be locked after the judge renders and posts his decision. On deck is the Red Dog contest. Wait for me to post the Red Dog thread before you submit photos. Judge for the red dogs to be announced later.

A couple questions... 1. Is there an age requirement as far as to young ? 2. Does it have to be a hands on stacked photo? I have some nice pics of Hank but he's only a little over 5 mos. old. and the oics are from in the field while training him. If his age is not going to be a problem, I can try to stack the little (not so little anymore) live wire to get the proper pic. Thanks, CHH
CHH, you don't have to stack him, but remember the judge will have to decide just from photos which has the best conformation, so use your best judgement.
Kip, I mentioned that in the actual contest thread where we might just move on to all the coat colors if folks have enough fun with it and think it's worth it. Gonna throw some red ones in the ring? I'm jealous - I want to post pics too, lol, but I'm exempt from the contest. I might sneak a pic in there just for fun and not to compete. We have every color but Lemon/White here in our kennel.
Gosh best lookin blue I ever saw was one that was a few dozen steps behind my RED -N-WHITE dogs How about us ? A friend of mine down the road has some great lookin blues as well as great runnin
