Heres a pic from this mornings hunt on some public land. 11 jumps, 9 kills. Dennis Hensley got his Indiana limit, i killed 2 and my son Dillon killed 2. Had down 6 hounds total. 2 where derbys. They ran great. Here is me posing our hound Red and Dillon posing Reds son, Bear, who won his first derby trial last weekend.
Nice picture. Are the rabbit numbers up this year compared to previuos years where you hunt? To me they seem spotty 1 area loaded next area few and far between.
Where this picture was taken, they are up, plenty of cover and very thick. Some places around home are thin, coyotes really hurting one of my running places. This year though here in Indiana, at least around where we live and hunt the population is high !!
