Sure would make a nice framed print for Christmas. My dad, and uncles Chuck and Don, let me tag along; they hunted every Saturday and Sunday morning. Once I got old enough to carry a gun, Dad let me use his Model 12 and he used a single-shot, bolt action .22. He was always concerned about .22's range and wanted to give me more of a chance with a shotgun. He wasn't much of a shot, and when we found a picture of him holding a rabbit, after going through his papers and stuff, I told my sister. "Uncle Don or Chuck else must have shot that rabbit. I never saw Dad hit one." I don't remember why, but we just kind of quit going. Maybe I discovered girls. You have a right to be very proud of your boys.
My Uncle Don is the only one left. I plan to stop up and show him my dogs real soon.
