Had two dogs attacked by coyotes today. I brought them in the house, cleaned out wounds with peroxide, but one is in shock; I wrapped her in a towel to keep her warm; any other suggestions on what to do?
Thanks,
Bob

Re: Dog in shock
Sorry to hear! Sounds to me like the dog needs a vet. If it is in shock it is due to blood loss means it needs fluids. Also probably some antibiotics to keep a systemic infection from occurring.
If it was my hound I would get it to a vet.
