Probably IFC Big Creek Nice Cream. FC Big Creek Navigator was down at the same time but was only about 10 or 11 months old and impressed me at that age. From what I hear I need to see him go again.

Re: Best dog you have seen run???
When AKC down here only meant brace trials and folks were wanting to start faster type of AKC trials, Gay Baker came in play. Frank could look ahead and see that coming as he talked and LISTENED to a lot of people.
Gay Baker was a tweener that brought the AKC brace lines more speed that would closer fit the upcoming other AKC formats we have today and that's why he was so popular.
There were other famous dogs of yester year that were well known for doing the same thing but compared to AKC dogs of today they would be nothing anyone would want to trial with in most formats.
What always tickled me and many others that mostly hunted as we had mixed grade dogs instead of AKC for that purpose was how fast the AKC dogs changed to fit the faster formats. Some of the real famous stud dogs that helped make the change will always go unknown.

Logan Elm Neal. I never got to see him when he was in his prime butt even later in life he could still get it done. Neil could do everything well but what he excelled at most was jumping rabbits he could just find them. And what made Neil even better was he passed a lot of those traits onto his offspring.
