Marshmellow's Sandy ran LPH in Michigan in the late 80's. She was lightning fast and pretty as a picture. Ran the ragged edge, but when she beat you, you knew it. She was a pretty lemon and white 15" Bitch, built light and athletic. I believe she died in a connibear trap set on the ground with a belly full of pups sired by FC Birch Birch Lake Texas "T". (Oh what could have been!) Sandy was owned by Jim Lane. Also admire the Satsuma dogs, fast, tough, athletic hounds with lots of desire.

Kenny Barcus & his dad Charles had a nice 15" lemon male that I judged at Ohio River one time. Really good check dog. Think it was FC J & B Little Jack.
Remember a couple more good lemons from that area; maybe owned by a Mr. Walls. It's been a few years now.

Satsuma Sid was a tough 13 inch male back in the day. High-energy gundog that won both small pack and large pack. Then was a good producer..

Up until last year I took about a 9 or 10 year break from trialing and would like to know everyone's thoughts of the toughest lemons hounds out there. Should be some interesting reading . Thanks in advance... Joey
