Blackjack run with his head up and down, depends on scenting conditions. Come see him run for yourself and you decide. We have pups on the ground off Blackjack we'll drop down also. Brains to gear down when conditions are bad, but can smoke a rabbit when conditions are right. No off bark, he opens he's got the meat.

That dog is doing a nice job, but IMO that is in no way a bawl mouth, that is a chop....again my opinion, nice dog.

Ya Jim, His mouth has change a lot since that video was taken. He's 1.5yrs old in the video. He's 7 now. Blackjack opens with a big loud bawl mouth, once he get rolling it changes to a hard chop.

I was gonna post that when I saw Seth say he had a bawl mouth. I hunted over for him for 6 years and he always had a chop.

You can hear my Shooter male bawling in this short video, he has the long drawn out bawl.
One of the Wacker males has the real raspy bawl in the pack, the other 3 chop or squall.
The Shooter male has been naturally straight, had pups out of him and a Striker paycheck bitch that were the same way.
These dogs have run hare in deep snow for 7 to 8 hours straight, and were still going when I picked them up.
Hard hunt and stamina to spare!!!!!

Steve, I thought Blackjack was 9 yrs old from his pedigree on the ukc board. If he is only 7 that is great. Just purchased some 8 month old linebred majer females. Got to get the pedigrees, but plenty majer blood.

I've seen BlackJack go and Hes a very Nice Rabbit Dawg, When I seen Him run recently He would Throw out a big Bawl in a long check as if to tell the Pack, I GOT IT!, then drive it with a nice Chop.....Hes a nice Stud...I enjoyed watching Him put on a clinic at the National Beagle Club Triple Challenge this Spring.. He had alot of pressure and never let the pack bother Him, ran the Track like He was tied to it, He was always the one finding the rabbit and keeping the chase going. Hes impressive.

Lance's Hank Stud has one of the nicest CoonDawg like Voices I've Heard in a long time....I'm gonna have to get ahold of some of that soon..... Lord Willin well get together soon...

I think I have a few Bawl mouth dogs. Sorry you can't see anything in this video but brush, but you get the idea. I think both my males have a big bawl mouth and my female has a bawl/scream. Best I can describe it. Each one will chop at times, but for the most part, bawl.
