Baby Rabbits in Michigan

Just wondering if anyone is seeing any baby rabbits yet. I have not seen any. Wondering if this wet, cold spring is taking a toll.

I just started seeing them. running this morning seen 3. southeast mi.15miles south of det.

Seeing quite a few... Population looks pretty good here surprisingly after a brutal winter.

SAW TWO SNOWSHOE BUNNIES ON MACKINAW ISLAND YESTERDAY. THE BUCKS AND DOES ARE PROBABLY FUDGE FED OVER THE WINTER MONTHS HAS ANYONE HUNTED THEIR IT IS MOSTLY HEAVY CEDAR AND STATE LAND ON THE BACK SIDE?

Have been seeing baby's for a few weeks now and have found a few empty nests. The one's I've seen were a couple weeks old so they seem to be doing alright. All of this rain we are getting right now may take a few nests out though. The rabbits around here survived the winter in good shape. I'm seeing lots of them. Mid Michigan.

The adults seemed to make it through the winter fine. I just haven't seen any young yet. Usually see them along the drive. I did find a brood of four woodcock chicks about a week ago. Actually caught one of the little buggers. A guy came out to try to band them but we couldn't find them again. Very rewarding when a habitat management plan comes together.
