You need to post this question on espomagazine.coms board. What I know about Otis is everyone is breeding to him and he is small with alot of hunt. Throws alot of small offspring. Sam Bulter has two Young Otis dogs for sale on Beaglesforsaleonline for $750 apiece. Keystone Kid on the Rabbithuntingonline board has bred at least on gyp to Otis he will be glad to tell you what he thinks about Otis. Tom Gross

He is small with lots of hunt and good line control. He does throw some smaller pups but they seem to be doing ok in the trials.

My research on OTIS mirrors some of what has been posted already - small male, good hunt, medium speed & good line control - typical UBGF type dog. I have heard that Otis is a little crooked in the front and will throw some pups with the same.

Since OTIS won the AKC Nationals he's been real popular as a stud dog and has breed 60+ bitches in the last couple of years. Otis pups are doing well in GDB and SPO UBGF trials but most don't have the foot to compete in faster formats or at faster clubs. I've got a derby male from Otis that is looking very good so far that has above average speed for his pedigree.

If you're looking for similar bred stud contact Tim Clark in Jasper Indiana. He owns FC Dunn Ridge JoJo who is a half brother to Otis, both of which are sired by FC In-Line Black Jack. Monty Johnson who owns Black Jack told me JoJo has the most speed & hunt of all the FC sons of Black Jack. JoJo is listed in H&H magazine.

Has pic, bench style, black blanket back from ears to tail, tan face, legs white feet and chest.
cant see the front well, but being in dogs, I can tell he isn't straight, but I have seen direct offspring that are straight, so the gyp should be straight fronted for the pups to be.
