Geez, i finally clicked on this and come to find out its about GWyoung and not George Washington, who woulda thunk it. Well anyway, i can still remember my 1st introduction to GW on a predator poll, me thinking Hawks and Owls take the most rabbits and him not so much. We went back and forth for days. To this day i know im still right and GW is still wrong, but i also know he has plenty of knowledge and would be happy to put my hounds down with his any day. As a matter of fact he is usually the 1st person i ask when i come across something i dont know about, and usually he can help. Lord knows, there are more people on here that know nothing but think they do and then there's some that can actually contribute worthwhile knowledge. You may not agree with how its contributed, but were all adults so deal with it. I'm sure y'all had a teacher in High School ya didnt like how they taught class but when the year was over ya learned something. Keep an open mind. Someone has to tell the less knowledgeable their wrong, and GW usually does not come right out and tell ya the answer, he tries to make ya think a bit. What more could anyone ask for?

I apologize for perhaps over reacting to gw calling me a liar (in so many words) after my last topic I posted. I'm very new poster here , and was caught off guard with the comment. After reading many threads on here , should have understood the way he comes across. The haughtiness that appears in many related posts is appalling. I reject pride with arrogance.
If your being assertive , using wit as a form of undermining others , it is no surprise others view you as aggressive and disrespectful. Condescension can leave you lonely , and many times turns you into and outsider. Which of course in its own vicious way serves to make you feel less secure and therefore internalizes the need to remain condescending. What a cycle.
How do we break it??? This type person needs to realize that every person they meet is a wealth of information and ideas they haven't come across. Learning is a process of being humble, and in being humble you unlearn condesend. We all need to humble ourselves. No disrespect to anyone , Just my thoughts. Good running folks.

and then there's the ones who speak with big fancy words cuz they wanna pretend dat he is a highly edumacated person, this board takes all kinds to make it what it is, one of the most popular beagle boards on the net, if not most popular, as i said, deal with it. Earl, I don't dis-like you. And as far as mark and his dogs go, have been in the same room with him several times, have seen his hounds run ,ran dogs so close to his that I had to leave. I know him ,Think he is a good guy, knows his stuff, and I believe I have said I would rather own his dogs than some others, So perhaps you may have to look for another excuse to explain something that does not exist( Me not liking you) Because I dis-agree with a lot you say does not make me dis-like you.
