That's very true brad but the way anyone learns is by running something they like and paying attention . Just like any of the big shots you got to start somewhere . Them guys didn't fall out of the sky they learned by running lines they liked and trial and era . No one is perfect and success is in the eye of the beholder. Hard work and dedication and you will never fail.

I disagree mike. frank, dennis, jim sr. ,jim jr., and bob have something special they aren,t by any means the only ones that have it, but not that many do. I know I sure as hell don't. these guys are in another class compared to most houndsman. guys that have put forth a lot of hard work have failed time and time again. some people are just blessed with different talents. Well said Mike, Esp the "paying attention" part. I go back to 1997 with Frank and these dogs and I know what it took for him to get where he's at. I assure you he wasn't kissed by the gods! HAHA. He ran the guts out of em, knew what he was missing and rolled the darn dice. Most guys would have killed 75% of the dogs and gave away the other 25% that was bred to make up this line.
Brad, your right about not everyone is made out to be a great breeder.but Its usually because their judgment gets clouded by pedigrees or not truly knowing the hounds there running.
