2014 PKC Large Pack World Hunt Update!!!!

[LANCE'S ONLY BEAGLES]

Despite the Recent Ice Storm in Lake City, Sc every one met up on Friday February 21, 2014 to hold the 1st ever PKC Large Pack World Hunt. The sky's were gray with Thunderstorm warning and rain in the forecast and it didn't dampen the spirits of the 70 dogs and their Handlers that were entered. The Hounds pounded for 4 hrs and caught 5 rabbits that were seen. There were plenty of good fellowship and sportsmanship in the gallery from the Owners, Handlers and Spectators. The Hounds will rest tonight and then will recast tomorrow for the final 4 hrs of hunt time. We would like to thank Our sponsors for their Sponsorship, Purina, Plum Creek Kennel Supply and Seneca. We would also like to thank Rhett Beard for being the Hunt Director and all the superb judges we have!! These guy's know dogs and are very Professional!! I got Scarface when he was about a year and half old. Put him in his first trial the day I got him. It all went up hill after that as he made champion quickly. Soon after that he won the N.C. State hunt as a champ and then a few weeks later won the Va. State hunt to make grand.
I always told myself that he would make an excellent Larger Pack dog.
