now that is an interesting post but i can't pick 3 names cause there are about 50 of ya. chad and i have met and ran with a bunch of guys n gals that we have met on this board and the hunted hare and had some great times and made some great friends. but i look forward to meeting a bunch more and also look forward to running with some of you again.

I have ran with many of the people that were mentioned and that posted here and hope to some day hunt with many more. I have made SEVERAL life long friends threw the hound world both the beagles and the big hounds. We may not all have the same ideas of what a good hound is or how to create one but I believe we all have one thing in common, we enjoy running our hounds!!

Field trials are a nice way to meet new people and watch new dogs in a semi-controlled environment if you can get past the over competetive handlers...lol

I am with Earl. I am going to hunt with that group some day. If I had the money I would love to travel all over and meet you guys and be able to video tape each and every dog that you guys wanted to show. I have really enjoyed meeting all the people at the SPO & Gun Dog Brace trials over the years and being trusted to video the events. I would love to attend a large pack trial some day. I have been to a Traditional Brace trial and a Midwest trial but would love to see all of them at some time.

The first two would have to be Chief Longhair and Swing for totally opposite reasons .One has a head full of sense and the other dont have a lick .It takes all kinds to make the world go round.The third would probably be Rowdy H up in Wisconsin .I have been lucky enough that I have got to meet and run with just about everyone else that I have wanted to .Out of all of those Alabama John was probably the best .He is just a really good guy to be around and knows more about keeping hounds than just about anybody I have ever met .
