Progressive Logic: We have spent 1.8 Trillion dollars on a HC system that isn't working, won't work, can't work. Just like the poverty programs instead of fixing something it drives more into poverty. Look at the reservations and the ghettos. In city after city, areas that once were populated by middle class families are now surrounded by public housing, the property values dropped, and the poor older folks who built the neighbourhoods, and still live there are trapped. Their property values have dropped, so they can't sell and buy in a safer neighbourhood. They stay in, afraid to venture out because the of the druggies and thugs roaming the street. It does no good to call the cops because they are a product of the drug culture also.

Did you notice the graph of disapproval last night, from the public audience, when he mentioned his health care success? When he got to his signature legislation, ACA, the graph of approval plunged to Zero. He told us how grateful we should be that he traded our private insurance for Medicaid, if you qualify. If you don't qualify for Medicaid, well tough, unless you are affluent and can buy a private plan. "YOU JUST CAN'T FIX STUPID."


Did you notice the explosion of applause from democrats last night when Obama declared he was going to use his pen to over ride the will of congress.
Are they so stupid that they don't realize that if they capitulate and let him do their job, they will lose their kickbacks from lobbyists? Lobbyists won't need them, they will pay the Obama crowd.

The ACA depended on young people signing up to off set the cost of care for older people. But there not. So the insurance companies are going to have to raise there rates and that means more cost to the working tax payer. So PMB how can you say it's working. It hardly comes as a surprise that Americans don’t have a great deal of confidence in the Republican leadership in Washington.

But in a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, one number stands out: 80 percent. That's the percentage of Americans who say they don’t have confidence in Republicans in Congress to make the right decisions for the country.

But, the lack of faith in Republicans is striking because it seems even their own followers don’t trust them.

Only 26?percent of people who identified as Republican say they trust the party’s lawmakers to do what is right. “In contrast, a majority of Democrats have confidence in their congressional party,.
