why can I post pics so easy on facebook but cant get nowhere on here when I try lol. whats up? why is it got to be so hard here?

The software that runs this website was released in 2007. Web technology has come a long way since then. This software was written by a bunch of talented but volunteer coders. Facebook has a staff of hundreds of paid coders. There are newer and better paid forum software options, but I think for what Bev charges us all to enjoy this site, for both her time and expenses, it isn't too bad.

no I don't crow . I know folks post pics but go thru a lot of stuff to do it ..facebook is easy . cap explained it pretty good in guess lol its free. lol/.

I love the website and appreciate what we have. I would however like to post pics. I have sought advice from others who are posting, but when I follow the directions explicitly, the pictures do not post. I think my problem started when my old computer quit and I up dated to Apple. Bobby

Easiest way for me was to create a photobucket account. It's free then you load pics there. If you wanna post one just copy & paste where you want it.

Crow, this is exactly what I do, even following step by step, detailed directions and the picture does not post. I had posted many, many pics on here before I bought the new computer. Bobby

That's strange. I haven't had any issues doing it from my iPad so I wouldn't think it's got anything to do with the apple device. Sorry, don't look like I'm much help but here's what works for me.

I click the image tab at the top here then open new tab on iPad & go to photobucket. Open the pic I wanna post, locate the 4 links to the right. Click the words direct link, not the link itself, I think it's the second one. Come back to my post & hit enter so there are at least 2 empty lines above & below where I want the pic. Then click in the middle of the image brackets & copy there. Example
