My name is Tom O'Connor, I live by Litchfield MN. I have hunted with Steve and talked with Danny a little through e-mail. What do you guys think about getting together some weekend up north somewhere and hunting snowshoes? We could find someplace in one of the State Forest's with lots of rabbits and lots of places to hunt. Most of the resorts are hurting for business right now, I think we could find a place to stay pretty cheap. I would be willing to do some scouting and see what I can find if enough people are interested. If you know a good place let us know. Maybe we could make it an annual thing. It would be just for fun, to shoot a few rabbits and see some dogs work. Anybody interested?

That sounds like it could turn into alot of fun Tom. Get ahold of me. I'd be glad to do some scouting up here for hunting spots and lodging. Talk to you later.

Tom sounds like a good plan, don't know if I can produce any spots the ones I had got worked over pretty good by some other hunters not much left.Been doing alot of scouting the last 3wks checked out a bunch of state land no luck,Millelacs,RumRiver,Ann lake,Snake river,Solana,Kimberly,Grayling, can find a few to run but not worth tring to make a party hunt out of any of them. This weekend will take me over to Pine City or Sand Stone or Willow River area hope I can find some.Steve

I've got a couple spots I will try to check this weekend, I'll let you know what I find. Danny, I used to hunt bobcats by Cromwell many years ago. Where there is bobcats there is rabbits. It might be good up by Floodwood also. I'm always looking for that place where you have to wait for the rabbits to move out of the way when you drive down the road and when you shoot one, two more move in to take his place. I haven't found it yet but I know it is out there.
If you do find a spot like that, for heavens sake, don't post it on here!
