I always start mine in the wild and my last litter started at 4 months. They could jump and circle their own rabbit easy by 8 months old!

Starting age depends on the bloodline. I've got three that started before they were three months old. My buddy has some that are a year plus, different bloodline, that still won't stay with the pack.

i have had dogs, people I've gotten them from would tell me not to get rid of them until after there two years old. i think its a long time but i have done it before and they were right on. someone else talked about bloodlines i think that's a definite possibility. most highly breed pup's I've had in the past just go all you really need to do is solo them to complete them other than the normal breaking and handling. will be finding out soon enough.
