Linebred Indian Hills cross- What do you think?

I tryed it and i got to slowe of a dog along with lots of over bite . Where i live you have to have a dog that can stay 20 to 30 yards behind the rabbit and on public land the rabbit run 300 to 400 hundred yard with out ever stopping.
That cross i had was great on privet land because the rabbit only hop hop then run a little and sit down and a slowe dog can stay on them close. But not on public land the rabbit are hunted day and night. When you shut your car door they take off running for several hundred yrds so your dog has to keep his mouth shut and have a cold nose with a tight mouth and move up on the rabbit fast. No boo whooing around on the track and that is why after three years of breeding that cross i HATE IT
But hay if it works for you stay with it cause that is what makes beagleing so much fun . Differnt styles of runnig for differnt styles of runing conditions
Just not my cup of tee . Never breed because some one else breed. Breed what you want you will be much happery that way
As i say after lossing a trial I feed my dog because he makes me happy ( NOT THE JUDGES )

I've linebred Indian Hills/Ace in the hole for over 10 yrs.NEVER had one that was mouthy.They all have plenty of foot,a lot of the time dropping down a gear or two wouldn't hurt a thing.What line is it that is tight mouthed and cold nosed.You don't see many of those in the same package.

Looks like a nice cross to me! Have you ever crossed Luke over a Branko or Northway bitch? If so how did they turn out?

I bred him to a female grand pup of IFC Brankos Heli-Prop & those pups were nice.

I like the Looks of the Cross, Luke is the Real Deal, I've seen him Run! "The Guy" running his Mouth Earlier, Clearly hasn't or He wouldn't have said what He did.
I like the doubling up on The Ace in The Hole, and with the Heli- Prop blood in there, these pups should Motor.
Luke has produced before, and He will again!
