Pine Lakes I think that goes even deeper, the destruction of the traditional core family. Not enough parents together raises these kids, kids having kids and so on. I could really get going on the dismantling of the traditional family and traditional family values. People who vote democrat don't want to face what the democrat party has done to the traditional american family through their polices and platform. They just make excuses and give you pity story rather than take responsibility for their policies effect on society. They'll be trying to blame the failure of the ACA on republicans anytime now even though not a single one voted for it. Wait for it.

There may be a glimmer of hope. For decades, teachers have not been allowed to teach morality. Now as a result of the rape trial in Steubenville, Ohio High School, teachers and administrators are being charged as accomplices . If they are going to be held responsible for student behaviour, they should be allowed to teach the difference in right and wrong. As I mentioned in another post, I knew a lady who quit teaching because she was lectured by the administrators after she lectured some students about the possible consequences of their behaviour.

Thats a nice thought Newt but the problem lies much deeper. Teachers can't teach kids whom have really been on their own with little to no structure since they where born. You would have just as good a chance as with a dog who has run out his whole life and then you try and pen him up and break him to a pack/organized/structured enviroment, good luck with that. Its no surprise the worse schools are in the worse areas, no mom and dad in most cases, multiple children without structured households, grandparents being burdened with trying to fill the gap and nobody being held accountable. Just throw more money at the problem without addressing how to correct the problem. I could go on but the whole situation makes me sad because it needs to be honestly addressed but when someone is honest he or she is villified.

Less parenting, not a problem, more drugs.

(CNSNews.com) - More than 20 percent of the 14-year-old boys in the United States have been diagnosed at some point in their lives with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), according to a newly released study by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The study also said more than 20 percent of 11-year-old boys had been diagnosed with ADHD at some point in their lives.

The study indicated that American boys were 125 percent more likely than girls to be diagnosed with ADHD, and that boys were 127 percent more likely than girls to be medicated for it.

While driving through Birmingham, A few years back, I was listening to a local radio station. The topic was "ADHD" in children. Some guy called and said there is no such thing, its a lack of parenting and no discipline. The Liberal talk show host went lived and berated the guy. A few minutes later a young lady called and said "I'm proof that ADHD, is overblown. She said I was out of control, was diagnosed with ADHD, they were going to put me on drugs. My Dad quit his job and home schooled me. The ADHD disappeared. The problem was, my parents both worked and I had no relationship with either parent. Once my Dad and I formed a bond and shared a family life, I was fine.
