the problem i see with it is that it cannot be physically blocked to only holding three shells. now some people have talked about putting in a mix of .410 and 45 . my luck i would be shooting 45 at rabbits. might run into a fine with the wrong game warden if used for hunting.

Buckeye Bunny hunter on YouTube uses one Andy check out his vids. I am really thinking about getting the BFR for next year the guy he hunts with exclusively uses one of them.

i see.. but i dont think i would try it in maryland. the game law reads a one piece filler that is incapable of removal without dissasembaling the shot gun. some might see it as dissassembling some might not. but is definatly an awsome gun. just dont know the legality of it with marylands strict laws. other places might be better, this was one of the downsides i see with a revolver type shotgun. it makes no sense at all if it was shooting 45 your fine but if you load it with .410 your not. go figure.

thanks for the pics

How far can you shot the 410? I have been wanting to buy a 410 contendor but they are expensive! I don't shoot many rabbits and like the idea of a pistol...

I killed one at 40 yards last year sitting (I actually ranged it and no, there was not a lot of BB's in it). I have a 14 inch contender, it shoots and kills at 20-30 yards with ease.

I agree with Mac. I love my encore well worth the money. Easily converted to different guns.

I have killed them out past 40 yards on two occasions one sitting and one running across a road. I have a 14" double choked contender shooting reloads with the stretch wad. I agree with above they consistently will kill out to 30-35 yards.

I have a video on my YouTube of shooting the furthest one I ever killed last year. It's called the windy hunt. We guessed it to be around 45-50 yards.
