Dog House Question
Building new kennels and would like to put a wind blocker over the doors. Know a lot of people use mud flaps is there a better material or type of rubber matting I can buy similar?

white plastic or the white cutting boards..10 X 11 1/4 in to 1/2 inch thickness...attach with hinges, bolts, lock washers under the nut.
make sure there is clearance for the hinge barrel and all sides.

If you have enough room make it so they have to turn and then go in. Then face the new opening away from the prevailing wind. You won't need a flap. I made all my houses this way.

insulated dog box, light bulb heater with 100 watt bulb...minus 2 deg outside....48-52 deg inside the box

We used to put a used piece of carpet over the door. Used to get it cheap from store that they would otherwise throw away.

1/4 inch plexiglass with hinges at the top. I was lucky enough to get a bunch that was being scrapped at work.

if you now some that works at a wear house that use the plastic cutains at there does to keep the cold out and they can get an old pc of that man is that great just cut a split in the middal. it is thick enough that the dogs do not chew it and the wind does not move it. good luck
