Does anyone know if Dennis Goad and John Lehner are still around? If so I would really be interested in chatting with either of them. If they are still around I could use a contact number.

John Lehner no longer has hounds, that's what his wife Eiline told me a few yrs ago , not real sure why . As for Dennis Goad a few yrs back he lost his son and seems since then I've heard less & less of him so I can't offer more than that .
With John I personally think that after loosing his father he too seemed to have lost interest in beagling , but that is just my feeling .

Thanks. I talked to Darrell Schildt to day and man was he a bunch of knowledge. I learned a lot about where my dogs came from and we even talked about running the dogs together this winter. He was a wealth of knowledge and it was nice being able to get some history on the hounds that my pups came from. If the info I have gotten is correct which I think it is then Dennis had the Superior Patch line so if there is anyone out there that knows much about them and has time to talk I would appreciate it . I have gotten a lot of great info from the people I have talked to but you can never know to much so if any of you guys know a lot about the Superior Patch line and could spare a little time to chat I would appreciate it. Just let me know and I can give you my number.

where did your dogs come from? I've got several dogs from Darrell.

I bred one to a superior patch bitch , have 4 males out of the litter.

I got my pups from Dewey Harless they go back to Darrell's stuff and Superior on the top and bottom. Their sire is Run-N-Gun Buster Patch and the dam is Anderson's Coon Crk Queen Bee. The G parents of them are mostly Lehners stuff which is mostly out of Darrells line. So im trying to take the ped back as far as I can and learn as much about the lines as possible. You cant know where your going if you don't know where you have been
