Solve Alpha Problem

Post by Pine Tar Gundogs »

Alpha compass is freezing up when tracking dog. I am only tracking one dog, only have one collar. I can recalculate compass and it usually fixes issue but it happens when I am tracking dog, the yardage continues to work. Anyone know how to solve this problem.

Update the unit. That was a common problem when they first came out.

Do you have any magnets on any of your clothing? Magnets will screw up the compass reading.
