wanting to breed for a pup

Post by nutbush »

Hey guys, I have a double bred Sudduth's Mississippi Homer male that I really really like. He is just now 1 year old and this will be his first hunting season. He is bred for Progressive pack. He is loaded with hunt, and will prob end up being about a 6-7 on speed. His dam is Homer's Miss Molly and she has some Ace in the Hole. I am trying to build me a good hunting pack on a low budget. I would like to breed him to a conservative Little Pack or Midwest or another PP dog and get a pup out of it. If you would like a pic of him I can send u one. His sire is Sudduth's Mississippi HD. If u think u might be interested contact me at 7314600656. For those of u who might know Kevin Daniels u could ask him about this dog. KD has tried to buy him several times from me and he has had several really nice dogs.

he is pointing you right.
not all, but the majority on here run a faster dog (little pack ,Mid west, UKC HB) than the rabbit dawg board guys .they run more your style dog, I think.
He is right up my ally tho..LOL

I have ran against HD he was pretty impressive that day.
Terry puts out some nice hounds from what I have seen.

From what I have seen there are a few guys on there that like a harder hitting dog, but most of what I see on rabbitdogs is mostly blackcreek, ubgf type.

Danny, Molly is one nice dog! She is probably the smoothest dog I have ever seen that could a rabbit as hard as she could. Me an KD killed many swampers over her! She has an easy short bawl, but man when she got locked on that bawl would shorten up and start to quiver, that's when u knew it was hair or hole! KD wanted to put her in a Midwest trial but never did.

yes you are correct on that .
mine are tweeners. but lean to the progressive pack style. we going to try out some UKC performance pack soon.

have you tried the UKC board or the ARHA PP board? I am pretty sure Terry has ran both with his dogs. you may have some good luck there.
